Yes. Utah taxes software as a service (SaaS). Companies that have nexus in Utah need to collect and remit sales tax on sales to Utah-based customers. Utah’s current statewide base sales tax rate is 4.85%, and in some Utah cities and counties, an additional local sales tax is applied.
